Society of Motion Picture & Television Engineers - Founded in 1916, SMPTE is the award-winning technical leader serving the motion picture and television industries. Our members are focused on setting technical standards that enable solutions and promote commerce.
SMPTE members are industry leaders and benefit from professional development webinars, industry conference discounts, the SMPTE Motion Imaging Journal, as well as opportunities to participate on standards-development committees.

Society of Broadcast Engineers - SBE, a non-profit professional organization formed in 1964, is committed to serving broadcast engineers no matter where in the world you work. From the studio operator to the maintenance engineer and the chief engineer to the vice president of engineering, SBE members come from commercial and non-commercial radio and television stations and cable facilities. A growing segment of members are engaging the industry on their own as consultants and contractors. Field and sales engineers and engineers from recording studios, schools, production houses, CCTV, corporate audio-visual departments and other facilities are also members of SBE

CompTIA A+ Certified - CompTIA A+ certification validates foundation-level knowledge and skills necessary for career in PC support. It is the starting point for a career. The international, vendor-neutral certification proves competence in areas such as installation, preventative maintenance, networking, security and troubleshooting.
VidCAD - VidCAD Certification gives technicians knowledge in structuring VidCAD projects, configuration and facilities management, utilizing sheet sets, creating concept drawings, creating detailed diagram drawings, designing 3-D rack drawings and architectural floor plans, linking equipment, jacks and cables in the drawing to the VidCAD databases, and automating job installation with labels and reports.

Crestron - Creston certification provides dealers and programmers with the knowledge and skills to design and program commercial and residential A/V control systems.

8a - The 8a certification is a business license for small businesses to get set-a-side contracts from the Federal Government. There are only approximately 1,000 new firms selected each year to become part of the program, and only around 9,000 firms that currently have an 8a certification.
HUBZONE - The HUBZone (Historically Underutilized Business Zones) program helps small business in urban and rural communities gain preferential access to federal procurement opportunities.
